This novel is written by Sarubhakta (Bhakta Raj Shrestha), a well-known Nepalese novelist, playwright, poet, and songwriter. He is also a winner of most prestigious literary honor of Nepal 'Madan Puraskar'.

The backdrop of the story deals with characters who live their lives following the fateful events of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the financial capital of the world’s most powerful nation.
